Loving this thread...read through it at work yesterday and took me about 3 hours to decipher all the work that's gone into it!  Wow, skills in abundance is all I can say.  Love it when you say "haven't got much time today so fabricated front wing, new bonnet, extra strengthening bracket, steering column, new bed for rear, reprogrammed ECU" etc etc.  Hilarious.  It takes me about as long to read all of that!!!

Everytime I see an early caddy I get jealous but thankfully my lack of skills stops me from getting the wallet out.

Best of luck with this, even though it's obvious you don't need it and I can't wait to see the finished result.  Please keep it in good hands when your done, it looks like you'd have about a thousand offers for this year's "summer project".

fingers crossed it may one day go evil , lol
decided to find some longer plugs with a colder runing as ive had problems finding some but found some

then went hunting for some rear brake compansators as i dint have any and hopeing it will bring the brake pedal up ,as the caddy usely has leaf springs with one fitted with a spring

then when i came to fit the dam oil presure switch /grr would fit so modifyed a oil pipe lol

fits now

gauges all fitted and sorted

and alter a heater pipe as it was straight and thought this may keep exhaust heat of the pipe ,,

quick run down
all brakes/wireing/runing gear/steering/welding/done ,,hopefully next couple of weeks , should be mot able .........,

I know this word is used a lot, and quite often not really justified, but this project is epic! :afro:
