bit more tunnel modifying was needed this after

thought might as well get the propshaft in and make it a bit more leval/central

as it would have meant removeing lots of things to re fit it at a later stadge

bit more upside welding 2day lol managed to get a hour to make and fit the propshaft 2day ,,,,

bit more modifying today , first decided to make the gearbox mount shorter for more road clearnace  , seems better , (nearly 2 inch removed)

more choping

then went radiator hunting as that needed modifying too
then started choping that too as i wanted a big core , for decent cooling

then removed the water pipes so they were on the same side of the rad
thought id have a go at radiator repairing lol

also added a bigger fan switch too

then added a fan , i may add too depending on how it cools the engine

plenty of clearance now at the front

started with some pipe work seems to fit ok

 some quick brackets made and radiator done, i reckon it fills a hole lol

all bolted back and wired fan up works a treat , also fitted a 75deg themostatat and fan sensor


next a start on the boost pipes ,looking a bit more like a engine



may get a bit more time 2moz to do a bit more

more progress today
first needed to cut some lumps of stainless for intercooler , spot on with plazma cutter

quick pic of the intercooler

adjustable wastegate arrived too

then cut a lump out of the front , glad really as it was rotton inside
trail fit //it ull do


then welded the stainless and boxed it off

intercooler fitted

then added some boost hose and 4ply blue contectors along with some hefty clips

i had to make the other as it was a tight spot

nicely fits


job done and bonett shuts too

was looking under the bonett this after and thought i dont like these old plastic things ,, so thought chuff it ill make one lol

quick cut and weld and added a few pipes and a cap


then thought might as well add the washers on a sepete part so they will be hot water on the go


just have to make a quick bracket and another to top the washer bottle up /pipes poped on job done
