Weren't on mine, just double checked. Mine was G12 plus plus....

GO12A8GM1 - is the coolant I got.

TEmp sender number is in the thread with the guide.

VW Part numbers : sensor 059919501A - Green And old style blue :  059919501
Both cost about £20

"C" clip:  032121142  cost about about 40p

Yeah, get two of hose C clips as one may break! and at 40p it's stupid not too. I changed mine and the first clip i removed pinged off somewhere, went to put new on an dropped it. Looked under the car and found half a clip. Managed to find the other complete one hiding in the front valence!

can a faulty temp sender result in low mpg i just doen a round trip of 50 miles at 70mph returnign only 43mpg... or is this due to the bigger 18s?
