dunno rhys i think last coipel of days its been quite mild round 5-7 degrees i think

hmm sounds about right then - was your journey quite hilly? mostly dual carrigeway??

no it was just flat m1 the usually trip on my 16s at 80mph woudl of got between 51-52 mpg but with these on i got 43mpg... i was thinkign of changign the MAF until steve pd says he get s the same around 43-45 so i guess thats the price u pay...one last thign i coudl check is in the service info thread  under mk4 maintence thread rich says

'.....If running 18" wheels using the 225/40/18 you should run 34 psi all round to compensate for the lower profile tyre'


and i think the tyres place inflated them to 32psi all round but i mite be wrong!!!!

this also means parkers guide isnt right  coz the anni runs on 18s and it shows mpg as the 150 tdi?

Is it due a service soon??  :undecided:
How about taking the maf off and see if its dirty. Mine was dirty/oilly, i cleaned it with  Isopropyl Alcohol  :wink:
it probably did help.
I took it off again a couple of weeks ago to see if it was dirty again and it looked ok.

2002 TDI se 100bhp-ish Auto/tip Black Magic. :cool:

mite pop into vdub and get a new one cant be arsed fannyign about cleaning it but i think its the norm to loose mpgs if u keep it in the 80s and its not due service for another 5k
