just incase anyone was wondering... had to rip all the alarm and immobiliser stuff out. it took alot of head scratching. loads of bits and bobs, wires, relays and boxes, 4 in total! a whole carrier bag full of stuff. anyway, some soldering of wires later, we got it started and it runs well, just a little proper tuning to do. Unfortunately now the back wheel feels like its about to come off. bearing i think. its a never ending story, but i know you all know about that....
Ive had it 2 years, and its really been hard. Ive loved my car, annoyed my boyfriend about it and other mechanically minded people. But now i think.... i may have to give up :embarassed: I know way more about my digifant engine than i think is healthy!

dont give up!! if it runs and is all good now (apart from falling off rear wheels) you might as well stick with it!

thanks... it means alot

tuned it. wowwww what a difference. it runs maybe better than ever (since ive had it anyway). smooooth! and fast! shame about the back end. turns out its a knackered shock absorber. just had a new spring on it too...
so, keep it going for the winter then eh...?!

we've come so far. its knowing when to stop fixing the endless stream of broken things...
