I had the same problem on a corrado G60 i had a few weeks ago (damn i wish i never sold it now)

The timing was out at the dizzy end.

People keep saying timing, and I will check it out, but I'm unconvinced.
I will be selling the car in due course to make way for a 7esque kitcar or a Porsche 911 to rebuild, but I need to sort out these niggles first and get the thing on the UK register. Thanks for your interest and I will be posting on here first before I advertise it anywhere else.

have you checked or replaced the MAP sensor line to the ECU. Has to be exactly 1m in length.
i guess u have read this by now?
