Mate, sign up to southerndubbers.com and PM a chap called TimG60 on there. Tell him I sent you and I reckon he might be able to help you out with diagnosing your problem. He built and runs a poop hot rallye and has just built a stonking G60 lump for a mates B3 syncro, he knows his stuff. He might be reasonably local to you as well as he lives in the southern area somewhere.

Does the car feel like it is driving in the wrong gear before it clears it throat?
If you hold the accelerator to the floor does it clear itself?

Yes, it clears itself as if someone had thrown a switch at a specific RPM, about 4500rpm. In 4th, that means about 100mph. I have to be going considerably faster than that to make 5th gear seem normal. Difficult with the way its behaving at the moment, but acheivable. :lipsrsealed:

I don't know if this would cause your problems, but have you checked the timing?

No, the Dogifant won't work with VAG-COM.

Sounds like it's almost time for you to nail Megasquirt on it.

At least then diagnosis would be a lot easier and you'd be able to tune it rather more effectively.

Have you put up a complete list of what you've replaced?
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.
