Can't figure out how to replace the Jack! (blush)

Ok I am a complete dipstick......a small stone got lodged between the brake disc and the tin cover, made a terrible racket..I could not shake it loose, I had no option but to jack up the car, remove the wheel and get the offending little sh1t out of there....

I did not pay attention to how the jack actually is meant to fir back in the polystyrene under the boot carpet....Ok I will admit I was no good at the Krypton Factor....does anyone have a pic of the set up so I can stop my jack rattling around in the boot?   :embarassed:

Its all made worse for me, cos theres a big nasty sub woofer in the boot as well...it doesnt like being moved around....Plllleaseee help....

hahaha!!!!!! I had this exact problem, i think my jack still isn't sitting right to this day!

I'm also like you, the sub is sitting in the boot, and I really can't be arsed to take it out to put the jack back in properly!

Wind the jack all the way in and then fold the handle to the right hand side (when the handle is at your end!) the foot of the jack goes to the end farthest away from you in the mouding and to the right, so the handle should then also be on top. Press firmly and the jack should push fit in.

It doesn't go back, you can only use it once and throw it away. Afraid you will have to buy a new one
