I agree with what you are saying guys, in that the usual suspects are going to be better in regards to customer service, quality of end product etc.. but the re-map is not for my car, it is for someone else who is looking into using them, the rep has promised a full money back guarantee if not 100% happy, and he seems to know his stuff.
Thing is with a wad of cash waved in front of his nose the price is sub £250 which is half the cost of the big players, so with the guarantee I think we'll go ahead and see what happens.
From doing a little bit of research the company has a multi-million pound backing, so I don't think they are a fly-by-night set up, but some power graphs on the site wouldn't go amiss, so you could see the before and afters.
What exactly does this define?

I think that's an absolutely meaningless comment, and not valid at all.
Ok, so the nature of their product is to add performance, and the nature of a customer enquiry is to add performance...great, a match with customer needs and service provided! This automatically suggests that you're going to be happy! If the car goes faster as a result, you will be happy. So they won't be giving you a refund!
Furthermore...you won't have a clue if it's doing any long-term damage to the car. So you could still be 'happy' whilst it is f*cking up your fuel pump, or such like....
