Low Washer Fluid - Warning Light on MK5 GTI

You'll need a wire to the dash insert if you fit the sensor.  I remember a batch of Fabia's were made without the wire in place and it caused a nightmare for the service dept's.

Hmm sensor can't cost that much... wonder if its an easy fit?

would have thought you'd need a new bottle and the sensor and wire it into the loom

Or how about the easiest option of all. When you pull the stalk and no water comes out, fill it up with some more. Hey presto cleany window.

how are you going to do that at motorway speeds? 


 

i don't really care as my MKIV has this fitted anyway

i dont have the winter pack nor the highline display
i get warnings on washer fluid and all the rest

was only yesterday i got this

Hopefully you realised that isn't low washers 

Do you have Xenon's?

I hope you realised that is a low coolant warning and topped it up with coolant before setting off on your way?

no xenons

yeah i just topped it up with water for now, will get some anti-freeze coolant from vw at the weekend mix it up a bit more.



and yes i knew it wasnt the washer fluid warning

oh dear laserblue. mine has it and i have bi-xeonons and a highline com. when i orderd the car it said the highline com came as standerd on the car hope that helps.
