Ipod connectivity options
« on: 01 December 2008, 14:50 »
I've just bought a Mk5 R32 with the uprated head unit (6 disc in head unit 510?)

Is there any leads I can buy to connect an ipod?

Changer is part of the head unit, its all in one unit. You just keep feeding 6 CD's into the slot

its a bit fiddly
you need to remove the sensor in the top centre dash trim (pops out)
there is a T20 torx screw inthe hole
then you need to unclip that
and also unclip and remove the lower trim surrounding the heater controls
then there is 4 T20 torx screws holding in the h/u
