Not as such!!

I last changed with synta gold F/S 5w40 from vw which lots of people use

Yep IIRC 27 for 5lt which is not bad

You sure it's F/S 5w40? Just looked on Halfords, and F/S 5w40 is ALL for turbo diesel engines.

Synta gold is made for petrol engines

I shall have to nip to their parts department and enquire on 5 litres of it. Got my new dump plug and oil filter here.

i just paid £14 odd for a 1 liter bottle from vw

parts man told vw dont sell it in bigger bottles

......... that was synta 5w40!!!!
