Which is best stereo single din fascia adapter for the Mk5?

I've seen a few different ones for sale on-line, but it's hard to judge the quality.

Ideally I'd like one that has a tray which can be located in either the top or bottom slot, but I want one that matches the VW plastic as well as possible.

Which one would you recommend, or buy?

VW sell their own that matches perfectly (it should do!). The part number is 1K0857058A1QB.

Yes, the VW one is the best match I've seen so far for single din applications (or two single dins together as you are going for emeye!). I personally haven't seen a VW with 2 single din units using the double din slot

Got mine from VW as said and its a perfect fit and colour match. Only £20 aswell.

Will this one take 2 single din units or is the cubby permanent?

From memory the cubby is permanent. Im poping out for a fag in a sec so will check then and report back in 30 minutes or so.

i got one from VW and its a blaupant (spelling) one... its darker than the dash!! they said thats the one they get...

MY VW one is a perfect match the dash and I can confrim that you CAN NOT put 2 single dins in it.

hum my bottom din has a tray which could come out for a 2nd din.. odd

Sounds as if we have diffrent ones 

Is a one peice mould which cant be removed. Its just cubby whole and single din unit whole.
