16v to vr6 exhaust

im planning on swapping the exhaust of my bro-in-laws 16v onto his vr6 tomorrow, just needed to make sure that it will fit?????

its from the cat back. pretty sure that it should fit, but just need confirming of this.

should be same fitting!! (as from the factory they were identical from cat back) but knowing how parts places mix and match when replacing things just check the bore from the cat to be sure

yeah i thought that was the case, it should hopefully be fine, vr has got a standard sytem on, so fingers crossed it will be fine.

It should fit, but i get the feeling (might be wrong)  that the later 16v is the same bore as the VR6 but the pre 95 is slightly smaller.  Might be worth checking if its an early model as you will need an adapter if that is the case.

the 16v is a 96 and the vr is 97 so both are the later models, hopefully should be a case of taking one of and fitting on the other.
