Author Topic: Spacer width with lower suspension (sorry if that has been done before)  (Read 2645 times)

Original 18-inch black Monza II (I'll never change those).
KW V2 suspension with about 30mm drop (will that be visible, btw?)

Question 1,2: The width of spacers on front axle (no rubbing)? 8mm or 10mm?
Question 3,4,5: same as above but rear axle? 15mm on each wheel is too much? How about 12mm?

no spacers on the front and 10mm on the back would be perfect

I saw TT with lowered suspension and spacers both front and back. Front was about 10. Looked sensational!

Why no spacers on the front?
Why only 10mm on the back?

ask GAZ as his was only on 10mm each side at the back and it looked spot on

but that does not mean 12mm back and 8mm front would look worse, does it?
The question is whether there will be rubbing problems etcetera...  :undecided:

I'm really going to sound like my age by saying this, but I think that it's far more important what any suspension mods do to your car's handling (and braking!!) than what it looks like! But I'm probably wasting my time by saying that here.

So what would spacers do to my handling and braking?  :undecided:
Let me know, before I go out and spend the money!

like I said in the pm pal, you WILL get some rubbing at the front when lowering 30mm, just the liner which can be modded easily to clear, spacers at the front will only make it worse
Revo stg2+ & lots more
