Got a response back the same day, just said I purchased the HU earlier in the year, didn't ask for proof or anything, guess it's because it's their fault that the cable and HU's don't work properly they send them out for free.

I have a 4GB Nano, is this old spec and thus could it work with the Alpine HU?

Got the stereo today (for a steal!) going to plug it in & see what's what & if I need the new cable.

Looks so swish! Just go to sort the speakers now! :D
