From a VW dealer I am thinking 19k ??? privately nearer Edition30's.

Some of the stealership twits still think that they can sell these at £24k.....some are still in complete denial.

A local independent near me is selling a similar spec 56 (06) spec DSG for £16,990 which I think is about £2-3k over priced.

£17k which i thought was a great price

Manual, Like the thought of DSG but the novelty will wear off after a while. Not tried it though, you never know, might change it after I've tried it

Well had my R32 just over a month now and going back to the topic I am averaging 22.4 mpg, which is mainly motorway miles. This is less than I was hoping for but I am loving the car soooo much! And petrol has come down so costs just over £40 to fill her up!

I get 28-30mpg on my R32 on the motorway... and its only got 1300 miles on the clock. Around town I get 22-26mpg. Bought it with 37 miles on the clock.

That is a little low tbh. I tried sticking to about 70-80 over a 2hr journey and still get 31-33mpg!
