Wow.. £15895 is what mines worth with 20k on the clock!! Had I bought it new I would have lost approx £12.5k in just over a year :embarassed:

Not to mention over 1k on insurance + 3.5k on juice

Thats 17k in one year of ownership.... thank god I didnt go down that route :smug:

So your car was £28,385 without leather My 55 reg was £23785 on the road back in november 05 thats value at just under 12k trading in.about 50% of original value after 3 years. Not bad considering these times, try getting 30-40% of original value of yer Vauxhalls and Fords. Whats with all this doom and gloom

That was the trade price I was refering to. tbh I cant see prices dropping any further and over the next few years will probably average out to about the same. Just be glad you aint got a Ford or a Vauxhall!

Must be getting wires crossed ea. £15895 + 12.5k =£28,385 or did you mean retail? If so my old one is coming up £14,795 which makes it even better

^^^^^Just typed in a 57 reg with 20k miles-
trade £15350 + 12.5k =£27850
retail £18750 + 12.5k =£31250
How would you have lost 12.5k on a no frills bog standard r32

12.5k + 15.5k = 28k

I havent lost anything... thats just what the car valuation thingy is stating.

What do you mean by no frills bog standard?? It has everything I want... there isnt much else you could add to it

Ahh ok. tbh I didnt really look at the list price but from what the hand written sheet the dealer passed on to me he said it was 28k or just short of if I remember. I wasnt too concerned at the time as mine was on a lease so it didnt apply. He probably just tried to spice up the figures to make it sound like a better deal..... Either way all he did was shaft himself
