only had it on the rollers once (JKM rolling road day) since i had it mapped in January.  Custom Code qoute 170bhp and 280lbs ft torque - the torque i reached but not until 2600rpm

i've done 4 full throttle runs in 4th and noticed that at 1700rpm my MAF and intake pressure are well below the specs yet from then on i pull over and above what the ECU is requesting
 :undecided:

its awkward getting someone to look at it as there aren't any decent tuners / VW garages near me and the nearest CC agent is 80 miles away!

....JKM are about 90 miles away from me but I have lots of free time. It just needs someone who knows what to look for and how to fix it - Easier said than done!

all too true sadly!!

i'm confident its not a big problem as i'd be loosing performance throughout the rev range but i'm not

Glad to here your well on your way to getting it sorted Robin :afro:

....Cheers, Steve :afro:

It would be good to see RED back to full strength to show the overweight and less-agile R32 boys a thing or two at Weston next weekend?

....I won't be at JKM until Friday (the day before Weston), so I think I'll have to cancel  - I'll contact them and explain my situation.

....Same here, but you need to watch that your turbo isn't overstressed.

....Did you mean me, joe? - I did read it and my intention was to thankyou but tell you how 'useless' I was at getting under cars.

Robin,

Tell Jim to take the boost gauge piping off at the Forge 3 port sender thingy..then do a run.

Just to rule out a leak in the boost pipe routing anyway.

Good luck and hope u find the leak.

Would you be able to tell you had a boost leak from the VAG-COM? I'm thinking of getting one and it would be another reason to go ahead if I could check fault codes for things like this, as I have spent time and money getting my car into in current state of tune and don't want it slowly loosing power through soemthing like this.
Edition 30, Black, 3 dr, Manual, Xenons, Highline, Sunroof, Armrest, Cruise, Touchscreen Nav & Bluetooth.

im pretty sure you can test boost on Vag com and therefore spot a problem if there is one
