Boost Leak....
« on: 24 October 2008, 00:15 »
....

I went on JKM's Dyno-Dynamics today (Friday) and whereas the torque was sharper, the power still max'd at 228 bhp - So still very close to the last two sessions. However, without the pressure of getting over 20 other cars onto the rollers, we had time to check data logs and found that the problem is a boost leak.

We just need to find it and so the car is booked in again next Friday.

Mixed news then Robin!

You know the car ain't performing  but at least you know why

Also it probably will be something fairly simple and hopefully not expensive :undecided:

If you've been running the Forge valve for quite some time it may well want a service.
