Shame Magnex/Micron exhausts have gone bust.

Wow that is defo cheap for a quality exhaust - only thing is I don't know how it would sound - I don't want anything louder than stock (which I think sounds just right).
I would only get it for the performance gains...
Anyone heard a Magnex before?

Question answered - not my cup of tea.
Too loud and boy-racery - phew! As if it sounded good I would have been trying hard to resist!

Magnex are definately quality exhausts, but tended to cater for more mainstream cars.  SWMBO had one on her previous Astra, and it was excellent for the price, and actually got a big thumbs-up from my former neighbour, who was a marine fabricating engineer, specialising in stainless steel.  Nice "mature" sound, and outlived the five years we owned it for.  The only thing to go "wrong" was one of the exhaust clamps!

Perhaps if the vid was recorded on something better than a mobile fone, then you might have heard a truer sound.

Magnex are definately not "boy-racer" types.

parent company supplied OEM stuff to Aston Martin!!!

shame to see them go down tho. Micron cans were very popular on the 2 wheel side of things.

I do remember reading something a while ago about the Magnex zorst being very loud on the MK5 GTI and a guy who bought one taking it back and swopping it for a Milltek  :undecided:
