wonder if any one makes a panel that just covers the lower part ???? think that would be a good seller imo.
so do you think i should go with fsd s +eibach or do a little more research first ?

....A stick-on exhaust trim would no doubt look like a stick-on and so not very good. Part paint is another option.

Re the FSD's+Eibach vs A.N.Other system, it depends so much on what you want to achieve. I guess that for fast road use we would all want a shocks system which delivers the ride of the FSD's but the lowering adjustability and handling of coilovers. The FSD's are an excellent compromise between the two.

I'm really facing the same question - New improved FSD's vs Coilovers - this week should decide.

Red are you going to give us the info on your new stealth tips
Also my coilovers are imminent, which happen to have adjustment on the dampening which is one of your concerns about coilovers being to firm.

I can honestly tell you the Eibach coilovers aren't to harsh at all.
I went out in Pab at Awesome's new S3 on Friday, he's just fitted KW variant 3's and 19" CH's. He's running them pretty low but the ride is impressively compliant. Kind of wish I hadn't gone out in it, made me want some and there a bit on the steep side

....I expect you've already posted the info somewhere, but which coilovers are you getting, TC?

I ordered the KW variant 2 to go with the white line anti lift kit.

PS Regarding your tips i wasn't sure if if you had left them to coke up after someone else posted a pic saying they can be bought in silver as well, but i really like them like that.

....Eibach told me their latest coilovers weren't available until December.

Isn't the reason why the KW V3's are impressively compliant because of running them very low? Great except for what happens on UK roads if very low - I'm thinking of my expensive front splitter.

Anyone know about KW Street Comfort coilovers? They have adjustable rebound damping, but not compression.

....KW V2 sounds good for fast road use - I'll look into those - Thanks, now on my shortlist.

....Black Satin finish. Of course now I've told you, I'll have to shoot you

Are a good set of springs and dampers better or just the same as a set of coilovers?  I mean, if you don't want to change the ride hight (except the standard drop of uprated springs and dampers) is there any point to the coilovers by any company because of the extra costs?

....Some coilovers also have adjustability for compression and rebound dampening.
