Alarm systems
« on: 03 October 2008, 12:55 »
Guys n gals
Have used Gap Security in the past and I've contacted them as I was interested in the Clifford G5 Avantguard...
Price that they gave me was £1150!!
However having done a quick search on the net I see some other companies offering the same product for £600 including installation...
I just cant get my head round how Gap can quote double what others are!! Outrageous...

Does anyone have any contacts for good quality alarm installers along the M4 corridor? I'm based in Swindon, Wilts.

Cheers all.

Sorry to hi-jack the thread but anyone got any recommendations for someone in the Slough or Mitcham areas to sort out my Toad AI606 alarm on my Mk3 Gti 8v? Had it fitted a couple of weeks ago but wasn't particularly impressed - the fitter wasn't able to hook the alarm up to the central locking or total closure [said he would come back to sort it out], the interior light doesn't come on when the doors are open and to add insult to injury the alarm keeps going off for no apparant reason! Apart from that it works fine...

Needless to say I don't want them back anywhere near my car!
