Well personally i dont think dodgy MOT's are a big deal, as long as the window isnt gonna cave in or collapse it'll be fine, make sure you do change the damper an tyre though, then in my eyes the car is perfectly safe,
But i dont agree with MOT's that know the car isnt road worthy and put peoples lives at risk though.

Well im goner it checked out a different MOT place 2morro mornin, and c wat they say about the windscreen and if its not to bad.

Defo goner get the shocks done anyway as gettin the Bilstein 1's slightly cheaper then usual, and gettin a new tyre 2morro from this guy round the corner from where i live, (part worn but only been driven on 300 odd miles) £25

The windscreen scratched not cracked, which is annoying i didnt c that coming. I dont really want a bent MOT not really fair on the next owner if i sell the car, but i dont mind if its an advisory just not a fail, i guess depends on the tester and what kind of mood there in.

If this scratch, obviously from worn wipers, is in the field of vision it will be a fail.
You can bet you life as its the wiper it will be in field of vision!

Yes len it is but its not the enitre window its just the bottom bit the inner circle. Its not in front of the drive more to the middle of the screen and down, if that makes any sense lol.

There is a template that testers use and if any fault, be that a scratch or crack or stone chip, is within that area then its a fail.

Hey all good news, i gave the car in again to a different place today, he passed with advisory on the tyre and advisory for front bush, he said that u need to tighten your handbrake to but its not to bad and far from a fail.

I asked him bout the windscreen and he said its fine as its not cracked and not in the drivers vision at all. He said cars with dirty windscreens are twice as worse as that.

SO the tyre and bushs will be done next week. Relief!!! Big time!!!
