i got one 2 yrs ago for eating a mcds in a car park, where the saxo lot were doing doughnuts, i was parked well away from them engine off etc, cop turned up they all left i stayed and got the ticket as i didnt grass em up,i didnt even know them..
the copper wouldnt even feel my bonnet which was cold by then so it couldnt have been me, needless to say i was pi@@ed off...

Dude that's harsh! Was that up by the leisure centre?

what was the speed limit on the road? i would have contested it like hell, just for overtaking someone that was driving slowly doesnt mean that you are being antisocial seems like they were being tw@ts with you think yourself lucky you didnt get six points

the main problem with section 59's is that theyre just dished out on the suspicion of... i got a few when i was 12-15 for riding a mini moto on a car park, also got one when i was 16 for riding along a 100 metre section of footpath to outside my friends house, everyone who lives there (8 houses) drives up said bit of path and parks outside their house...

i argued and said fair enough, but i want every single one of the cars there issued with the same warning... there is no road way to where they were parked, he got arsey with me so i decided to leave it and he never did warn any of the other cars...

so what did you do wrong? your allowed to overtake someone doing 15mph

the reason, they said, was because i overtook the woman after constantly being up her arse. i admit i did but not for two miles like he was trying to say.

so it was for overtaking, which on my part was not dangerous because there was no car in sight coming the other way and for harrasing her.

the spped limit was 30 mate. i couldnt tell you what i was doing, keeping my eyes on the road. but it wasnt that fast.

we have the "community speedwatch" lot around my area... they really get on my wick! 

fair play monitoring speeds outside schools (at school times) or within housing estates... but on the main A road on my way home? give me a break! the policeman training them should be doing some REAL police work. recently this road has dropped from a 60 to a 30 limit, and its now MORE dangerous trying to continuously monitor your speed. get a grip!!!

Best thing to do, is if you're genuinely shocked your getting a warning is ask the coppers for their collar numbers and the name and number of their superior officer...

Threatend by the police with one the other day for setting my sub and amp up in the street, apparently i have a really loud (standard) exhaust which i jump in and rev up everyday, only thing is its my neighbour with his mk3 gti with a decat and straight through exhaust and lets his 6yr old son rev it bloody up!!

try telling the police that tho !

Well... I've been threatened with a section 59 a few times just for sitting around in car parks talking and that, not actualy doing anything wrong like handbrake turns or playing stupidly loud music etc..

I got told that they had given me a section 59 before, but if you dont actualy sign anything then you aint got one! So basicaly if you didnt sign anything then your alright fella!
