Supply your own oil - which will be cheaper to if you get it from Costco ;)

Agreed.  (But didn't I already state that?   )

shame I'm not a costco member :-(

Me too.  Don't think there is one anywhere near me!

Anyway, even if you go into your main stealer, they should be able to sell you the proper LL3 stuff at trade price, even if you are not a trade customer.   If they refuse, then try another stealer (including the Seat and Å koda ones ).

If all else fails, try Simon at Opie Oils, who is one of the forum sponsors - he can usually better Halfrauds and the like, and if you can plan ahead, he often has "specials", where he offers an extra discount, or throws in a litre top-up for free.

I know you did, as to did I in an old post - just re-confirming.

I am a member, sure we can come to an arrangement and I pick some up for you...

Parkway normally - will be asked them tp use my own oil in the next couple of weeks.

Costco sell thems in 3x 1L packs - works out just over £7 a litre I think it was.

I got 12 litres for just over £46, so approx £11.50 per 3 litre pack (which is the minimum size they sell).

As good as a main dealer can be - I would prefer my mates garage to do it but its that stamp that people like.

Not been for a while now but its the only one I have used for this and my past Mk4 GTI a few years ago.
