It won't be loads worse, my mate does simillar stop start driving in his r32 and he does between 17 & 19 mpg, that's working out from brim to empty not using the computer
its already like £1k under trade...

hmm i will drive it this evening and give my full review :) it'll be my first time in an R, drove an old v6 4motion which was fun and plenty of different cooper S's and the odd supercar

the thing where i live is, even driving the gti like miss daisy its so hard to get over like 23mpg because of the stop start driving, will the r32 be much worse?

one of the things that is putting me off is the fact there is a certain ethnically challenged person in this area with an 08 plate one and a seat so low it looks like a 2yr old is driving..

ps who's in bournemouth!

watch this space

I'd be tempted at that price, but only if I was going down the road of giving it Turbo power

is that the level sensor on the rear axel?

Yup.

But you also need the front level sensor.  The control ECU.  All the wiring.  All the headlamp washer gubbins.  A new switch.  And it will all need recoding with vag-com.

ohhh my god, putting xenons on my car would give an asprin a headache...

LOL

im reserving my decision on gti vs r32 until later I do have a soft spot for throaty engines and i doubt it'll disappoint!

Get an RS4 then!  Throaty engine sound which will make the VR6 sound like a lamb!    Xenon-Plus headlamps with AFL (they bend aroud corners)
