Cos a remapped GTi will hold onto a .:R32.........IF its dry  :lipsrsealed:

Cos the GTI (in my opinion) is more unique looking.

And you are gonna get screwed on them taxes.

And the resale of .:R's is at an all time low. If your dad is doing a direct swap I say he is scamming you cos he will get better resale on your GTi than on his .:R  :nerd:

nice try Micsta!! Have you been to the UK this year... You would have been very lucky to find a whole dry day

Take it for a nice long drive then come back and tell us why you wouldnt want it

p.s. I have been averaging 29mpg since calming down a little, but by no means hanging around so consumption isnt as bad as you think either :smug:

It is sensationally simple to make a decision:

just get R32 and be done with it
or
just forget about R32 and be done with it

How's that for advice?

"..my body says go, but my mind says no. If you wanna be with me, baby there's a price to pay..."

I reckon the fact my local dealer has had an r32 sat on the fourcourt for months would put me off, it would need to be mega cheap for me to buy it, then I would still actually keep the ed30
Oh and racing/ speeding/ driving quickly in the wet is a little silly imo so that's no excuse to buy the r32 either
Only plus I can think is the noise

I was in the dealers monday and heard a guy negotiating on a new R32... £29500 was the figure I was hearing :lipsrsealed:

I think with the price of crude oil coming down nearly 50% over the last few weeks.. we will see that R32 prices will stabilize and those that sold will be feeling a little silly
