Ive read that only 500 were made in this colour. GTi 8v's and G60's


Probably even less. I say about 250 have survived if only 500 were made. All guesstimates

Yes this is what I thought.  Question is - Is 500 a UK figure or worldwide?  I would guess that less than 1 in 10 has survived.

I forgot about that blue - I'd happily say it's the second best colour for a Mk2 GTI, behind Oak Green.  But I'm biased 

Jade green?  I had three of the damn things - couldn't get away from the colour.  I think apart from yours mate they've all faded away...

BBM is my favourite MK2 colour  just pips Oak Green in my book and also has the advantage as it is not seen on quite so many cars.

Would love to get one in this colour myself.
