Car parked at multistorey carpark at work. Only decent place was a slot next to a poorly parked small car, so parked my car slightly to the left within the bay, to the point where the wheels where on the line itself. Left ample room for me to get out. Pressed the mirrors in.
Came back and a red estate was parked to the left of me. Scratches on the door mirror casing and on the door itself. Fingernail test positive. No camera, no pen, no paper. Memorised the plate-no but don't think it'll do any good. Was tempted to damage the estate but was in a hurry to meet a friend so couldn't hang around for driver.
Arrived home. Mirror casing has green scratches which I could wipe off. Why was it green? Door scratches are tiny - around 10mm max long, horizontal. Could probably be sorted with a touch up paint and buff.
Soooo gutted. Yet if I tried to park over two bays, I'd get fined or lose my parking permit! Sometimes I feel like I should have kept my old fiesta
