totally feel your pain.

i total'd mine a few months back. The good thing about old skool golfs is that you can fix them in a few hours. after that its down to a spray job.

chin up. get well soon :)

Your SOOOOO right mate...  Old Skool is the way ahead  ;)
Race ya...

I've been following this thread all day, and I really cant offer any more sympathy than has been given all ready. I just hope that you can get it all sorted out, and I am sure there are a few people on here who may have some spare parts if you are in need of them.
Keep you chin up, and remember its only metal and can be bent back into shape...

And the your car looked awesome before it got totalled.  nothing worse than munching your pride and joy into someone.  hope ya ok and manage to get the car back on the road, mk1's are by far the nicest golfs (although i drive a mk2)

Thanx.... I only went to inters for 2 things.  1) to get decent wheels to finsh her off with my hard earned money i saved and 2) to meet some of the people behind the user names.   On;y managed 2)  but that was well worth it, as i mentioned earlier in this post.  The poeple I have met so far are absolute diamonds. :)
