One problem that all manufacturers now face is the car safety bullsh!t that dictates all sorts of things e.g. the position of rear brake lights. These silly rules are a big part (but not the only reason) of why cars are starting to look similar.
For example... Have you noticed the growing height of car bonnets... Pedestrian safety innit.
