Yo,

Im looking at a tasty set of Rota RB's for my car, and there is the option of 15 x 8 et 25 or et 35.

But there is a set that is 15 x 7 et 40 which are cheaper.

Im only going to have g60 arches on it so dont want anything thats going to poke out further than that, but the same I dont want anything thats gonna destroy my front arches either, especially on full lock.

Help, much appreciated

if your car is lowered you may encounter arch problems, i'd roll or cut away some metal - won't show anyway with G60 arches.

Yeah it is lowered. Which set should I be looking at really? How expensive is it to get the arches rolled?

I have had 15x7 et24s on my car from a beemer, rears were fine but fronts rubbed a little after lowering 40mm.
I now have 15x7 et 13s  which rub at the back but not the front after I rolled the metal lip right up and chopped out the lip on the plastic arches.

Id say since those wheels are wider go for the ET35, or just go for the cheaper 7j ET40 ones which are pretty much exact oem fitment for a MK2!  Then if you like you can space them out a bit to lower the ET if the mood takes you, or go widetrack if that floats your boat!

Well ideally I wanted them as wide out as possible, whilst not causing loads of problems, or being illegal

depends what you want to go for, wideness at the expense of handling but an easy life, or wideness with best handling but a fair bit of spannering involved.

either way will require arch work if you go uber wide however
