is it cheaper to buy the parts and then get fitted or will it not make much differnence?
its normally just an inspection to make sure the belt hasn't perished with age.. the tensioner and pulley -should- be good for 60,000+ miles regardless of age.
As with all things, there are no 100% guarantees.. but I kept an eye on mine and had it changed at 7 yrs / 85k miles
