still a problem but i'm sorting it out with Steve and then I'll post what has happened - not sure if there's something wrong my end or his so not fair to speculate at this time

fraid so - got the puddle lights in position - just need to get them working the way they should work

it does but these are located in the wing mirror

I see, fortunatly, my wing mirrors are at the end of the door with hinges, so I avoid puddles
