I am sure Phil (steve) will be back, it was prob "just the straw that broke the camels back", perhaps he found being a mod on here too much of a chore. I for one know I get hassle for being on here to much, perhaps Phil did too!

Hopefully he will be back with the most awesome turbo back flame spittin milltek zorst!

We all get busy every so often and dont always find time to trawl through the forums a good a place that it is - sure he wont be away for too long.

Just like me... I love the forum but find it all a bit too much at times and have to back off otherwise I find myself posting too much  :undecided:

....I've just found this thread.

Have met Steve aka Phil several times and really like the fella - Good guy with a friendly and honest disposition. I don't know his current problems but doubtless he will return when he's ready to.

Re Gaz's thingy with Steve/Phil - I really don't think there was a serious issue in itself at all, but merely it provided an excuse/opportunity that Steve was possibly looking for to try to tidy up his stuff (if that makes sense!). It was the spark which anyone could have unintentionally ignited at any time. I think we all know that there is no light without dark in life and sometimes things get on top of us and we have to snap or react in some way. His problems aren't our business unless he chooses to share them and I hope he knows that there's lots of us here who would offer him emotional support.

If a Moderator is needed in this Mk5 forum until he returns, I'm happy to step up to the plate as long as people would feel happy about that. I suggest they PM topher if anyone prefers I didn't. (I'm already a Moderator on Biali Motorsport so I have a little experience).
