Couple of things.  When I lock all the doors from inside, for example, when I get over 10mph, all the doors lock, but the rear nearside door lock goes down, then pops open again, every time.

When I push the button the lock and alarm the car, all the doors lock, but the lights don't flash, and I'm fairly sure the alarm isn't arming.

Right i had the same prob DEFO the door module - and no your alarm is not armed unless your indicators flash.

So tell them you want a new Door Module fitted to that door.

VAG COM enables these.

Spoke to VW today, they're not interested in fixing my car unless I pay for the inspection!!!

They reckon I have to have it done in case it isn't the sensor that's faulty, they don't want me blaming them if I tell them to replace the sensor and it doesn't solve it. And they won't order the sensor without an inspection in case it isn't needed and they're stuck with the stock.

Whatya think I should do?
