If it's just a case of squeezing the nipples to get rid of any water / gunk, then I think that should be my starting point. If that doesn't work, I'll check the pollen filter.

I noticed today on the way into work that both the rear windows were steaming up, but not the front ones

Have you got a sunroof?

To be honest I'd check both options don't take 5 minutes to get the pollen filter out.

No mate, I haven't got a sunroof. I will check both, but I'm inclined to think that if there's a sh*t load of water/crap that comes out of the nipples when sqeezed, this will probably cure the problem (I hope!).

But it's worth checking both seriously 4 screws to undo and 5 minutes of your time. you won't even need to remove the pollen filter to check if it's wet.

there is plenty of stuff on uk-mkiv about water leaks so if these two suggestions don't solve do a search over there.

Let me know how you get on.

I've noticed a bit of water in the rear passenger footwell, but I can't find these nipsters. Could anyone post a pic or describe exactly where they are? I've followed the description on here, but can't make it out. Cheers.
