i see swirls robin, tuttut

....Nothing that can't be put right. Besides, I enjoy driving the car more than just looking at it in such close detail.

it may be a good point robin, if you sourced these for the TT shop then you will know where the badges are from, so could infact "cut out" the TT shop as i bet they put a big mark up on them, so may get them reasonably cheap.

....So I source a product for friends who run a business specialising in such things so that the product can be obtained much more easily and without all the hassle and surprise extra costs of shipping and import tax etc, and then I do the dirty on them and cut them out - Just what sort of person do you think I am?

The likes of k4ith and yourself may like to take note that OSIR and such suppliers don't take orders direct but only via their exclusively appointed resellers (TTshop/TTSroadsport for Europe in this case). Also that UK Customs are much more up-to-speed than they used to be and you either can't get your goods delivered before paying UK taxes or the tax bill follows in the post.

But if you want to go ahead on your own accord, Good Luck!

alright robin, no need to get emotional.....

anyway i dont care who or where i would be to get it from, aslong as its cheaper than anywhere else

and also i havnt paid duty on the last 4 or 5 packages ive had from america and japan and thats over about 8months so there must be a hell of a backlog of bills???

I see where you are coming from Red, and i am not wanting to tread on anyones toes or upset friendships but to be fair its a business transaction at the end of the day. 20 people want the best price so other people adding a bit for themselves makes no sense to me.On the Ukmkivs forum a guy organised a GB for Vag-com for about 100 people some serious cash involved and import duty was paid legit and we all got a good price at the end of the day but we avoided resellers and got direct from the source.I appreciate how hard organising a GB is as i did one a while ago on ukmkivs and tried to do one here for Zaino products.

Wee tip for anyone importing goods or buying from ebay usa ask the seller if they wouldn't mind marking the value of the goods down on the import docket, this is sometimes not the best as if it goes missing then insurance is a bugger.
or wrap in gift wrapping paper and mark as present as i was fortunate to get done while buying an Arai crash helmet

....Let's just wait and see what prices TTSroadsport are able to offer, bearing in mind that they are appointed as sole European resellers and so I don't see how people in the UK can buy direct anyway. People can then take their name off the list or not at that stage.
