Are these same same as the ones RedRobin has fitted to his car? That nice kinda flat looking matt black front and a glossy looking black at the rear? Or are these new variants in that kinda stripey CF look? I like the look of RR's and would be tempted.

How do you fit them?

It's a good point but I don't think there from OSir, see below from RR.

....Justin at the TTshop is the best person to ask, but the carbonfibre VW badges are a different source from OSIR who do the silver CF. OSIR haven't ever made any moulds for VW badges AFAIK.

Also from what the TTShop said the badges are normally done on a part exchange basis so to do this direct with the guys who make them would be a bit of a mare.

You must be the lucky one on the import duty stuff last 3 out of 5 packages have cost me extra.

it may be a good point robin, if you sourced these for the TT shop then you will know where the badges are from, so could infact "cut out" the TT shop as i bet they put a big mark up on them, so may get them reasonably cheap.

....Exactly the same as mine - Not from OSIR but to as high a standard.

....So I source a product for friends who run a business specialising in such things so that the product can be obtained much more easily and without all the hassle and surprise extra costs of shipping and import tax etc, and then I do the dirty on them and cut them out - Just what sort of person do you think I am?

The likes of k4ith and yourself may like to take note that OSIR and such suppliers don't take orders direct but only via their exclusively appointed resellers (TTshop/TTSroadsport for Europe in this case). Also that UK Customs are much more up-to-speed than they used to be and you either can't get your goods delivered before paying UK taxes or the tax bill follows in the post.

But if you want to go ahead on your own accord, Good Luck!
