I think that if you have a pre 90 spec dash it's more problematic due to the hazard light being on top of the steering column.

Isn't that post 90 spec? Pre 90 spec had the hazard light on the dash iirc.

Correct  90 spec on top on the steering column, Pre 90 on the dash

Bit of a fail there. Meant to say that as pre 90 spec has hazards on the dash, doesn't that mean a mk3 dash isn't a straight swap?

Nooooooooooo don't put a mk3 dash in mk2 you might be in danger of actually making a mk2 look good...

We has an invadzor! 

MK2's ftw  even if they are rusty and need more attention than MK3's, that will all change in a few years when MK3's start getting into their grown up years and only properly looked after MK2's are around
