anyone carried out this conversion tried searching and google but cant find any info for the mark 4. was wondering whether a mark 3 16v head would fit the block or a 20v head from the 1.8 n/a.

I would think the mk3 16V would fit?  :undecided: Really doubt the 20v will tho.

Never heard of anyone doing it TBH  :undecided:

no not hard just got to change a few extra bits and pieces too, although they say it isnt that powerful without the turbo because of low compression

Tubby is the way forward. Its been said many times, there really isnt any point throwing money at the old 2.0 engine to gain performance.
