Other choices were, but ruled out by her ladyship for various reasons..A3 convertible, very disapointing, small boot and lots of scuttle shake. Mini Convertible, no chance, awful to drive.Porsche Boxster, too wide. Didnt like the bland interior.TT, not bad but only available FWD which she has a problem with in the wet after having an AWD S4TTS, better to drive but too much "in your face" with the extra body styling and stands out too much (so I'm told)Her words, not mine. "It has to be German, look good, not wheelspin off the line in the wet, and sound good too, oh and be red, black or silver. Oh and have heated front seats, Xenons, traction control, leather and look like its expensive. Oh and convertible".One of the down sides of having a "high maintenance" wife it seems...
I feel like a homo
....Though I'm not interested in the TT, Audi have a very good set of broad options for versions. I guess that the bigger 3.2 will take a bad hit in the current so-called 'green' climate.
....2ltr, 272ps, quattro, Mk6 GTI anybody? The engine would work well in the Scirocco too

The TT-S has a 2ltr engine, 272ps, Quattro, lower emissions and better fuel consumption. It also looks better too
