Ok stiggy car in pounds=2969 + me at 168 all i need is the bhp at the wheels and ill be off to get some more points on my liscence

The max bhp at the wheels is what's calculated during the run.  All you need is the weight and leave the % loss bhp blank for whp :nerd:

Ok i did 4 runs not easy to find a place to try it with all the faffing about but i didnt give me the estimated bhp so stiggy you were probably right about leaving the drivetrain loss out.
0-60 1st run= 8.42  1/4 mile time16.76, speed 92.9 had to let off near the end on a B road with bends
       2nd run=8.21 }
       3rd run= 8.10 } couln't get 1/4 times on these runs
        4th run=7.89 }

Went out early this morning to try this out and get some peace on the roads  :grin:

This was my best result:

0-30 3.48
0-60 5.95
0-80 7.84
0-100 10.01

elapsed time :

60' 3.37 sec @28.1mph
330' 6.93sec 69.1mph
1/8mi 9.57sec @ 95.6mph
1000' 11.76 sec @ 113.3mph
1/4mi 13.58sec @ 124.8mph

max spead 125.7mph
max accel 1.03gs

peak horsepower 379hp ( :laugh:) not sure about that got weight down as 2920 so def too light and 18% for resistance.

average for today
0-60 6.07
0-100 10.20 sec

not to fussed how accurate but is good fun to play with an look at the charts after... :nerd:

Ha ha LMAO at the terminal speed... You'd need about 500bhp+ to pull those sort of speeds mate.
1/4 mile time sounds about right though, as you have same mods as me IIRC (Revo and Milltek?).
Same on the 0-? speeds. Seems about right to 60mph, then goes a bit pair shaped after that. If yours has DSG mate, then you should be looking at around 11+ secs for 0-100mph, if not about 12.0..
Sounds like you had fun though..  :wink:

I bought the app for my phone as I thought it would be good to play with, though havent had a chance to do any runs as yet down to work commitments.

However thought others may be interested in this YouTube Video that has done a review and found it better and more reliable than a G-Tech on a 1/4 mile run.

Also just to show you what 'PC' country we now live, have a look at this news article about Dynolicious HERE

I have been having a play with GTx on an N95 which uses GPS as well as the accelerometer . With ESP on (manual gearbox) 7.1s 0-60 is seemly the best I can do or be it with a large dose of mechanical sympathy. Probably with ESP off and a bit of wheel spin it would dip into 6 somethings.
