Although we have to remember that the MK5 was released 3 years ago. Technology is more advanced now and I dont really see why VW would be unable to create avehicle similar to the MK5 whilst compromising what people like.

Those are the pics... I have lots of Scirocco wallpapers. Thats such a hawt car.
Maybe they changed the grill because Merc opted for a huge one too?

I think the main problem with VW is that they bang out a great car, sell more then they thought they would and then try and make hay why the sun shines and the replacement is not quite as good......

They always seem to fall back on the marque's good name across Europe and even across the pond too..

Still miss the integrale..........

....Two reasons not to buy the Scirocco just yet : -

1 - Never buy a new car until after its first year. Time to sort out any problems.

2 - The 2.0 Turbo version won't be available yet. Not worth it with a smaller power unit imo.

I love that side view in red : -

I admit it looks quite good in the red, but those wheels fitted to it are a Phaeton optional wheel (Helios 19")

....Yes, I wouldn't have those wheels. I like the 'directional' spoked ones I've seen on some pics of the Scirocco. But please don't start me off thinking how I would mod one!!

Fair point on point 1.... 2.0 TFSI is the sole engine variant available in the UK at launch though

TT-S is a lovely car. I test drove one over a week ago and if I wasn't considering something else  I would have had one
