TBH can't really see the point of doin it then if your not going to make the most of it, but I also understand that Ben's in an unusual position that his ED30 is a company car so things are a bit different

Well as it happens on a standard K04 TFSi the terminal speed on the 1/4 mile is approx 100-101. On a revo map with a full exhaust and uprated intake, approx 107.

With an intercooler and fuel pump upgrade, losing the rear seats, junk from boot etc, closer to 110 should be possible. Stage 2 asks for 1.4 bar of boost at the top end of the rev range, but the fuel pump only allows 1.1 bar. The missing 0.3 bar would make the car a monster at the top end and should not be subject to wheelspin on stage 2 code.

Stage 2+ code will be based on a car with all the mods listed including the pump as RR mentioned.

From what Kev from Revo said.. (and on there literature)
Stage 1 = ECU remap (no other mods)
Stage 2 = Full Turbo back exhaust, sports cat down pipe, Intake, Ecu Remap
Stage 2+ = Full Turbo back exhaust, sports cat down pipe, Intake, FMIC, Uprated Fuel Pump, Ecu Remap...

I will not be going for the Stage 2+, just the stage 2.

And Al, I will get a panel filter just for you mate...   . Which one do you recommmend?
Oh another thing mate. You mentioned that the fuel pump only allows it to run at 1.1 bar. But when my car was on VAGCOM, it was requesting 1.5 BAR and getting exactly that...   I will get Neg (lad with the VAGCOM) to confirm..

Candy White Ed30 3dr DSG, Nav, Bi-Xenons, Armrest, MFSW...

Hmmm. Would need to see the logs. Perhaps you had a lucky run when yours was logged as the pump does not always return the pressure requested from by the ecu.

As for panel filter, my choice would be for something like a green or K&N. I have a pipercross foam jobby on myself just now until I get a decent intake, but its only because I got it cheap.

With regard to fuel pumps, the guys who have them fitted already report that the gains are where commanded boost is highest. On stage 1 Revo this would be midrange and on stage 2, top end.
