mk2 golf replacment speakers

right im going to be looking at replacing my standard mk2 golf front and rear dash spaekers, havnt really got a budget, juat wondering what people recomend as a set up dont want sub and stuff just wanna improve on the standard speakers with sumthing that looks subtle too, sugestion please people,
