Do you still use V-power/Ultimate
« on: 23 May 2008, 00:16 »
Just had a sudden curiosity as to whether you still use V-power/Ultimate nowadays with the hugely expensive petrol prices? I used to fill it with V-power all the time, nowadays i run it every fourth tank, just for its cleaning element. What about you guys?

....I still use it and don't intend to change

And I don't care that my nearest Shell is 15 miles away

Shell V-power for me. Too much of a detour to make it worth while getting Tesco 99.
Bye Bye Edition 30

I am lucky there are 2 shells within 3 miles of me, but I tend to use Tescos99 as I find it just as good. Our local Shells always seem to be having problems accepting cards for some reason.

A couple of weeks ago I had to fill up at at Sainsbury which left me with a flat spot at 2000rpm although oddly I didn't find it any less economical.

I am stuggling to be able to fill her everytime with the good stuff. Unleaded round my way goes from 1.12 up to 1.16 so you can imagine how much the good stuff cost :(
