I have Grip!!!
« on: 22 May 2008, 13:40 »
At last,

I've been nannying what is left of my original Continental sport contact 2's for what seems like ages now. I finally had time to go to VW and ask about some new ones under my service/maintenance/tyres package and they put me straight on to national tyres to see if they had any in stock. Had to wait another day for the tyres to arrive and now a new pair of front Continental sport contact 3's are fitted

I asked the tyre fitter and he said they would have been £126 each.

So that means that I've had a service at £155 and tyres at £252 so far out of the agreement. It is looking like another 4 tyres before the agreement is up and so that is another £504 which makes the tally £911 and I'll be paying £970 over the 3 years, so a decent deal when you consider there are another 2 services and an MOT for them to pay for too.

I finally have some grip to hoon about with

Now all I have to do is put a few hundred miles on them and I'm ready for Inters

Anyone else have these fitted? ....and what do you think of them so far?

ps if anyone is interested i know of a bloke doing 4 for aprox £300 (conti 3's)
