Good choice IMO Hurdy..
When I had the LCR, it came from factory with Pirelli's on. When they were shot, I added Conti Sports and the difference was unbelievable!!!! 
So much so, when the fronts were worn again, I swapped backs to front (back Pirellie's had about 6mm on, front's were on about 2mm) and the Pirelli's were worse than the shot Conti's.. 
Since then I stuck with Conti's and will be changing to them again once the Michelins are worn on the ED30.. Quality tyre!
